The High School at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) is the final stage of our holistic journey. Here, the foundations laid in primary education are transformed into specialized knowledge and leadership skills, ensuring our students excel in a globalized world while remaining rooted in the values of Unhu/Ubuntu and the Catholic Faith.
Academic Excellence & Diverse Pathways
As a registered Cambridge Examination Centre, we provide a rigorous academic environment that encourages critical thinking and independent research. We offer three distinct pathways to support the unique talents of our students:
- The Sciences: For those pursuing careers in medicine, engineering, and research, with a heavy focus on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
- The Commercials: Designed for future business leaders, focusing on Accounting, Business Studies, and Economics.
- The Humanities & Arts: Fostering creative and analytical minds through Literature, Geography, Sociology, and History.
Junior and Senior High Milestones
- Junior High (Forms 1 & 2): A broad-based curriculum where students explore all disciplines to identify their natural strengths and interests.
- Senior High (Forms 3 & 4): Targeted IGCSE preparation where students specialize in their chosen pathway, building a competitive profile for local and international standards.
- Advanced Level (Lower & Upper 6): An intensive pre-university environment focusing on academic depth, research skills, and career readiness for our senior students.
Leadership & The OLPH Culture
Our High School students are the custodians of our unique School Culture. They lead by example through:
- Peer Mentorship: Serving as big brothers and sisters to the Primary section, embodying the spirit of Unhu/Ubuntu in their daily interactions.
- Spiritual Leadership: Taking a prominent role in Liturgical celebrations and school-wide devotions.
- Self-Governance: Practicing self-regulation and personal responsibility, preparing for the independence of adulthood while still under our nurturing care.
Sporting & Extra-Curricular Prowess
We offer a competitive athletic environment where students can excel in regional and national festivals. Our focus remains on the “Body” part of our mission, ensuring that physical health, teamwork, and resilience are prioritized alongside academic success.
